Lab Technician

Malteurop Canada is looking for a full-time Lab Technician at our plant located on Dugald Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  This position requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years working in a laboratory in a food processing environment.  This person must possess basic math, computer & problem solving skills. 

Duties include:

  • preparation and analysis of process and finished product samples
  • analytical testing using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures
  • data entry into computerized systems

The work environment requires the ability to work first shift which may overlap into second shift and overtime as needed.  Attendance and punctuality are required and an important function of this position since this is a one-person lab.  The successful candidate must be adept at multi-tasking and able to work independently in an organized manner.
