Permanent training areas focus on two major themes:

The Varietal Development Manager is a demanding field worker, testing varieties of barley – our raw material – through growing experiments and analyzing them according to qualitative and agronomic criteria.

In our malting plants, which operate continuously 365 days a year and 24 hours a day, production line workers take part in automated outsteeping (malt discharging) and product transfer operations.
Supply-chain management is the transverse support function par excellence, with responsibilities extending from the initial order to its final execution. The Supply Chain Manager provides the interface between all streams and the sales department, the quality department, accounting, and the production sites.
Working together with grain growers is a natural approach for Malteurop. Firstly because growers are at the very origin of Malteurop and because they are part of the Group’s shareholding structure via their cooperatives.
Malteurop is first and foremost an industrial group engaged in the primary processing of barley into malt.
At its base our profession consists in ensuring the availability of malts in the right place, at the right time, at the right price, in the desired quality and quantities, at the point of secondary processing by our brewer customers.
